ARCHIVED WEBINAR :: The New Global Anti-Bribery Landscape Webinar
The growth in anti-bribery laws and enforcement activities internationally poses a relatively new concern for US companies. The Siemens case, the new UK anti-bribery law, and other recent events suggest that the landscape for global anti-bribery efforts may be shifting. Last April, for example, five multilateral development banks (MDB) agreed to cross-debar companies and individuals found guilty of fraud and corruption in MDB-financed projects.
In this one-hour webinar, attorney and anti-bribery expert Jacqueline R. Peterson of K&L Gates will discuss recent developments in this critical area and offer insights into corporate compliance strategies for mitigating risk. Topics to be discussed will include:
- The Essential Elements of the FCPA
- Enforcement Trends
- Managing the Risks of Third-Party Relationships and Acquisitions
- The Importance of Effective Compliance Programs
- International Bribery -- Focus on the new UK Bribery Act
