The 8.45 Club

The 8.45 Club is part of the Being Smarter Ltd group of companies, launched in the UK in 2008 by its founder, Mark Copeman.

"I don't have time for training - I've a job to do" is a common cry heard along corporate corridors today. Knowledge workers are reluctant to leave their desks because of the pressures of hitting deadlines and because of the fear of not being seen at their screens.

The 8.45 Club solves this problem by providing an alternative to face-to-face learning by delivering (no more than) 10 minute video-based ‘advicelets’ to inboxes over a period of weeks. Courses can be bought off the shelf or custom built for corporate needs such as employee induction programs, management briefings or customer product training.

UL has partnered with The 8.45 Club to provide another innovative method of learning to its corporate clients. Through our partnership, we will offer our clients new engaging courses by delivering short, practical and to-the-point videos, all delivered by expert presenters. Knowledge workers can rest assured they will be back at their desks by 9am.
